If this is the wrong area for this I do apologise as my first post and first quandary. Just swapping a set of clocks over and wanted to keep my speedo mileage as the wiring on mine was pretty damaged. So went on as you do removed screws took my speedo out and attack the better looking one. When speedo removed there's a circuit board on the side that plugs into the rear of the clock 3 pin plug. Anyway when I went to plug the other 2 plugs that are held on the clock bracket I notice the bike has a 6 pin and the new clocks have a 4 pin black plug. Why is this??
As far as I was aware, all the NSRs have a 6-pin plug. Are you sure your replacement was an NSR, and not a CBR400 or similar? I seem to recall, externally, some of the 4-strokes look the same. _________________ Andy.

I'll have a look at the Nc clocks but these are definitely the same style as the nc's clocks the speedo is seperate. But it don't explain the circuit board from the side of speedo. Help is appreciated
