Tell us what's on your mind, and that'll give us an idea where to start.

Major differences are cranks, barrels, and carbs, minor differences are things like the T.P.S., flywheels, etc.

The best thing to do really is what I and many others have done, and read the Parts Manual cover to cover and study the differences & interchangeability!

I asked the same question a while ago. I believe the differences are:

1. Carbs + TPS
2. Flywheel so the timing is different. Don't use the HRC card with the MC21 flywheel - too much advance.
3. Depending on the year, the oil pump might be different. The newer MC21 and MC28 have an extra oil feed.
4. The gear position sensor is different if I remember correctly.

Of course, simply typing "differences" into the Forum Search feature yeilds a whole host of information - it is what it's there for, after all! Confused
