NSR tuner need in US

Tue May 03, 2016 2:17 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Gent's,

Evening…

Long time NSR owner here..

It's time to finish and tune my NSR project (started 10 years ago) that has been idle for 5 years. The bike has many Tyga parts/Ohlins/replica bodywork etc. and many other mods. For various reasons she has just sat for 5 years. It's in very good shape other than it is now in need of carb overhaul obviously. The bike has been piped and jetted by myself years ago and was very close at the time but never quite jetted perfectly. I have a few things to tidy up but really want a professional tune put on the bike. I'm located in Minneapolis, MN. If memory serves there was a few NSR specialists here in the states when I was active years ago. I'm looking for a tuner/builder to pay to really wrap this project up so I can ride the damn thing. I'm fine with traveling to find this person/shop. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance, Mj

I don't know if this helps, Steve Biganski is just about the best in the business, unfortunately he is in California, Steve is the turner for nick itsach and also has worked on Kenny Roberts vintage bikes. I personally watched him work on my own MC28sp and was in Awwww. maybe you can give him a call and maybe he might know someone close to you 310-531-6264

Hi Gary,

I have heard that name. I'm not adverse to travel or shipping the bike. It is certainly worth a call to Steve. The job seems a little mundane for him but I might be able to sneak in some other work as well on the bike. I'll keep you posted. Thank you!
