Braided lines

Thu Oct 11, 2007 12:54 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Does anyone here use the HEL Braided lines you can get from TYGA ?

Im looking to upgrade to some braided lines on my bike. I can get Goodridge street legal lines here in AUST for $215 AUD landed on my doorstep
These lines are ADR approved, and they use a double banjo off the master cylinder with a bleed nipple up top
Are the HEL lines the same configuation ? They are a cheeper option, as street legality doesn't really worry me too much.

And what if I told you I can do those HEL lines at almost 50% of the price of Goodridge?! Wink

Any bike too... not just NSR. Even looking at doing Scooby lines too soon! Wink

Really Andy ???? I'll be needing a set for my fizzer 4/600. What do you need, the stock lines sent to you to duplicate? It doesn't matter how long it takes as i dropped that project out of my new found love for NSR's. But that new found love also wants me not to ride the NSR as my primary bike. That was the worst part about that bike, spongy lines = scary turns Shocked

I'd have to say you would be a CHAMPION Very Happy
TYGA advertise 83 front 42 rear ASD
That goodridge price was front only !!

Do the HEL lines have one line per caliper with the bleed nipple up on the master cylinder ?

Can you get them in different coloured braid? ? And what are the fittings made from ? Stainless, zinc, chrome or alloy ?
Any idea on freight cost to Australia ?

If you need custom lines, then I need the line lengths (eye-to-eye) and fitting type required for each line end (eg. 720mm/90° banjo/straight male).

If they are stock production lines, I just need to know what they were off. HEL have a massive database of makes and models they cater for.

Kits are 2 x full-length front, 1 rear. (I can do OEM and over-the-fender too, by request.)

£55 to your door - all colour options - full stainless steel.

Kits are 2 x full-length front, 1 rear. Double-length banjo bolt at the front master cylinder.

I also do HEL Performance brake light switches for £9.95. They are ideal if you have race rear-sets which can't use the OEM switch anymore. It replaces the single-length banjo in the rear master cylinder.

They are in the Marketplace... well, once it's back up and running they will be! Smile

I'm opening an old thread since the topic aligned with my request.

Looking for pics that show how folks have routed and secured HEL front braided lines on stock forks and fender. Specifically the type where both lines go up to the master.

Tyga has some good pics on one of their project bikes, but looks like they did not secure them to fender. I may fab some small P clamps for there.
