Clutch noise.

The refurb is coming on well... Tonight for tbe first time in 2years my mc21 lived!!

Quick question. Not used to dry clutches and i know they are noisy but mine screeches as you pull in the lever.. Is this normal.
Almost sounds like a really dry bearing rather than a rattle i was expecting!
Common problem??

Check the bearing in the pressure plate [Part# 23]. Also check there's a ball bearing between the pushrod and the plunger [Part# 31]!

Andy.

Read this after i stripped but spot on diagnosis mate thanks. Bearing is full of corrosion!
Now waiting for new one to be delivered and the pgm to come back from greece!
