!! NSR-WORLD.COM Spring Dyno-Day - info here !!

Mon Dec 13, 2004 5:56 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Saturday 4th June, 2005

To coincide with the Llandow 2-stroke track day on Friday 3rd June, we have secured the exclusive use of the GT Performance dyno on Saturday 4th June.

We feel that this will give Forum members concerned about travelling times and distances, the greatest opportuninty to take part in what we hope will be a superb and entertaining weekend aimed directly at 2-stroke enthusiasts.

After an action-packed day at Llandow, owners will be invited to travel either Friday evening or Saturday morning to picturesque SW Devon for a mad-cap day of dyno runs, 2-stroke chit-chat, and social gathering.

Following the days events at GT Performance, there will be a night out "on the town" in Plymouth city centre - an event in itself! - and on Sunday, a ride-out across Dartmoor Country Park to the N. Devon/N. Cornwall coast to blow out any hangovers!

We are aiming to gather together the largest collection of NSR's ever in the UK, but the day welcomes ALL 2-strokes, particularly "interesting" hybrids.

Plans are underway to try and gain some "sponsorship" by GT Motorcycles and/or Rock-Oil UK.

The dyno will be available from 9am until 6pm so naturally dyno places will be limited to a maximum of 15 bikes. Initial runs will be for power and torque comparisons, then once all bikes have been run, the dyno operator will dedicate the rest of the day and resources to "tuning" needy machines.

The dyno will only be available to 2-strokes, and only to those who produce a valid ticket that will be sent via confirmation e-mail.

The cost of the dyno-day is £15, and if you would like to attend please E-MAIL ME. Please do not PM me about this event.

Please also post your intentions to this topic, as it will help promote the event.

Again, although biased towards NSR's, the weekend welcomes ALL 2-strokes, so feel free to ask yer mates along too!!

Andy.

UPDATE 1:

The very kind guys at GT Motorcycles have agreed to a further 10% discount on Rock-Oil for the event. Their prices are aparently some of the keenest in the country already, so a further 10% can only be good news!! :D

Watch this space for more updates!

I might be able to put a few lads up for the night. Ive got one spare room and a sofa. Its in saltash, about 5 miles from work (the dyno) and about 6 miles from the town center. So the taxi back wont be to much once we are all drunk. Very Happy

Sure you can, I might have billy (nsr-monkey) staying too. Room for a few tho. There are some rules tho. Like billy gave to me, no stealing my PS2, no wrecking the house (thats my job) and no bring back women of doutful reputations on saturday night (thats my job too). Send me an email and i will give you my phone number so closer the time we can arrange it all.

UPDATE 2:

8 Confirmed NSR's and one "hybrid special" so far. Not all the bikes require dyno places though, so still plenty of room - for now! :)

Also coming to "D-Day" Wink so far:

1 x HRC RS250R
1 x RGV250K
1 x RGV250R VJ23
1 x 350LC
1 x RG500
