Anybody know the type of EBC clutch fits a '94 MC28 SE? Is there a part number? Need to order one for next Friday's track day.
Just went for a ride on the NSR for the first time in 2 years. Man is it a laff. Going from the plodding Ducati to the ring ding NSR was an experience. I'd forgottern how much I love 2-strokes, and how small it was.
The GSXR/CBR brake combination it fantastic! I'm scared to pull to hard just in case it locks.
Apex Leisure sell them
33.10 wet clutch as opposed to 44.95 here
48.70 dry clutch as opposed to 59.95 here
even allowing for Andy doing free postage it still works out cheaper from them (sorry Andy )
OK "iom", freedom of speech and all that, but what is your position with Apex? I mean, you must have some affiliation with them as studying your posts, the majority of them are indeed references to services and products offered by the company.
As a whole, I think I have been pretty fair letting the what sometimes seems blatant plugging for them go unchallenged, but when you outright challenge the prices on my Site in favour of a different company, then I think it is time to draw the line!
Please state for the record your affiliation with Apex Leisure and refrain from further advertisement of them and their services until you have had the decency to realise that you are now clearly treading on toes. You do not see me or anyone associated with NSR-WORLD.COM crawling over posts on Apex's Forum telling readers how we can sell goods or services cheaper than them, therefore I thank you for not doing it here!
Please go and learn some "Netiquette"! _________________ Andy.

So are the fiber plates that AL is selling up-rated fiber plates, or are they OEM Honda parts (which they are listed as). Also, the complete clutch set seems to be more then NSR-WORLD.com price.
Here is the deal. If your with AL, that's fine. We welcome Jo here (as long as she doesn't get argumentative ). She has a crap load of information, and experience, and we would enjoy her input on technical aspects of NSR's.
Now I find it interesting that IOM's ip address is coming from the same base IP address that Jo's posts were. Does that mean the IOM is Jo? No, but its someone who is using the same base IP address. Could be an employer, a friend, or what ever. All we ask is be truthful about your affiliation with AL.
As Andy has pointed out, a good number of your posts have been rather blatant plugs for AL. That's fine, but don't come on here knocking NSR-WORLD.com when you’re not giving the complete picture.
the ebc part number for the dry clutch plates (fibre ones only) is ck1288
basically the wet clutch runs in oil the dry one dosnt probally more technical than that i am sure stephen or andy will fill us in on that _________________ Half the strokes, twice the fun
one thing to think about is that Apex are in the business to make money out of you. Andy and charles do all this for nothing,so anything you buy from here is giving a little bit back. i,m not going to rubbish Apex, Jo is very helpfull and a loverly person to deal with. but comming in through the back door to plug your products is NOT on, and lower than a snakes foreskin in my book.
Can i use the mc18 steel plates and presssure plate on a mc21sp motor wich has a dry clutch i am thinking of buying the fiber plates. _________________ To be or not to be is illogical captain
The wet and dry clutches are different, I wouldn't try to interchange the parts.
Why would you want to use MC18 wet clutch parts on a 21SP?
The complete performance dry cluctch kit in the Marketplace comprises of fibre plates, steel plates, and springs, is produced with uprated components and is suitable for ALL dry clutch NSR250's. _________________ Andy.

Andy i do not have a clutch at all i bought an mc21sp bottom end.
i have a spare mc18 clutch sitting around i know i can't use the cork plates but i was wandering if i could use the steel plates i also have the pressure plate from the 18 wich i would like to use i'am just trying to save money but if these parts are not interchangeable then i will have to buy the kit. _________________ To be or not to be is illogical captain
Looking at the parts book alone, I would say no, nothing is interchangeable. It may be a different matter if you have the parts in your hands, but I wouldn't risk it!
Having the dry clutch (sometimes) covered by nothing more than thin plastic, whirring around right by your foot, should make you want to be positive there is nothing in there liable to fail for the sake of a few Euros! _________________ Andy.
