Exhaust heat shield

Sun Apr 23, 2017 12:07 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

What do you guys use for protecting the paint on the bellypan from the heat of the exhaust? I recently used exhaust wrap for cars, but it's not resistant enough to the heat, and the paint started to blister.

I use the genuine heat proof sticky pads

64109-NF5-750

Not cheap, but they stick like $h17 to a blanket, don't come unstuck when you wash the belly pan and wear well. I've had them last for a season or more. You'll probably need a couple on the Left, depending on your pipes.

Is that the zircoflex 1, 2 or 3? I like that it is so thin.

Never seen that before. Looks very good. Also makes the OEM pads look cheap.. Wink
