Does anyone have a clear photo of the orientation the water outlet should be positioned when using the center plug rear head on the front cylinder? I have it mocked up with the outlet pointing straight down, but the HRC hose seems not positioned correctly. The graphic in the HRC parts manual I found is not overly clear. Also just FYI for anyone doing this, one of the studs is not long enough. The original front head had a shorter stud where the plug was angled and the rear head uses studs all of the same length.

Yes, you need to change the stud.

The orientation of the outlet is pretty irrelevant to be honest. You can even orientate the head so that a standard BR9ECM spark plug fits (just) within the standard bodywork if you want. It will have no bearing on performance.

The "correct" orientation is however, with the hose stub pointing down.
