Hi all,

I dont know if my Nsr250 pgm3 se is restricted or not, i checked pgm unit its seems untouched

So my question is what a restricted nsr250 look like, how fast does it go ? Question
From various movie on internet i could say that 1gear 60km/h 2nd 110km/h 3. 140 4. 160 .....

Is restriction only affect max speed or acceleration?

Thanks for your answers

Check out some of the links on the left of the page for general information. If your bike is derestricted, the normal method is joining some of the wires to trick the pgm into thinking it's in a lower gear. This is called a wire splice. There are also some rarer methods of using box that does the same thing. It's worth searching the forum for posts on derestriction and dyno graphs. Another option is to find a local dyno and get a run to see what power it's making, around 45bhp for restricted around 55-60bhp for full power

Thanks RobH for this quick answer, but i saw all links and topic about derestriction...

My question was more about how a restricted Nsr drive like, how fast and whats the difference, is the power cut in some high rev?

For example a restricted nsr50 go to 60km/h and 8000trs/m when derestricted go to 90km/h 11000trs/m its just an example

Unfortunally there are no shop with dyno in the place i live even no decent motorbike shops actually

i think you right i should get a box like m max or Kiss and plug it see if there is any difference...
