Out at Mallory last Friday... Stated off slowly with 1 minute 15 sec laps and had to adjust to riding a 2 stroke on track again. Got down to 1 minute 2 seconds according to the GPS lap timer.. I was way too early on the brakes and 30 year old brake lines dont inspire confidence.. So new Goodgridge hoses ordered and a smaller front sprocket for my next wobble round Mallory.. A sub 1 minute lap would be ace.. But not going to risk trashing the bike if I can so I will be happy just getting some consistent quick laptimes.
The Metzeler M7RR's were brilliant and the HRC Link Plate Kayla made just made the bike turn like I would hope it should. Happy with that...

It was so much fun... I do need to get my head round how late it will let me brake still but by the second session I was down to about a 1.09 or 1.08 second lap with some traffic. Next time out I will spend a bit more time getting my braking markers sorted as I am losing so much time on the brakes...
Think the lap timer had a brain fart the last time out.... But the times are coming down as I get back in the saddle..... Started off in the fast group (cheers Adam) and did a few sessions but after being hit and knocked off track by someone who was never going to stop.. Also there was a race meeting on the sunday so quite a few (including idiot boy) were using it as practice for Sunday... So moved down into the inters.... Not had an issue being hit but traffic did knock some time off my laptimes as my fastest lap was in the first session in the fast group... But at least I didn't have anyone trying to out brake me in the inters....
