Hi Guys

I’ve recently purchased a 1994 Honda NSR250SE MC28 and during shipping for the previous owner to myself, the key and card got lost. How and where can I order a new key and card and will they be compatible with my bike? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

You will need to obtain a new (used) card from somewhere like Yahoo! Auctions, and then have it recoded to your PGM-IV. You will need to send the ECU to Japan to have the recoding done.

You may be able to get a locksmith to cut a fuel tank key.

Thanks for the info Andy. I see theres a few ads on eBay selling new cards. The ad says that if I send the vin number and serial number of the PVM-IV

In my personal opinion, Isicar is a reputable seller.

I cannot personally guarantee/recommend the service however, having never used them, but reports from other customers of their across a number of forums are positive.

Thanks Andy. So just to confirm that this way of obtaining a card / key and programming the card would be possible/ correct?

There is also a guy in Melbourne Aus who can provide a similar service. His businesses name is ECU Meistro so try googling that. I’m not sure how much he charges.
