Hi, I followed the instructions as per manual page 65 but even after loosen the tightening bands I cannot lift the box off the carburettors. Am I missing a step? Thanks
The "grommets" go really hard with age. What you can do is try warming them up with a hairdrier (or very carefully with a heat gun) which should make them a little more supple.
You will probably find you need to loosen the clamps a lot more than you expect, too.
Finally, just to be sure, make sure there's not a hidden screw mounting the airbox to the subframe. Sorry if I'm stating the obvious, but can be overlooked. _________________ Andy.
