Follow up from the cylinder interchangeability topic below.
My instrument cluster has gone missing. MC18 bike for the most part, MC28 engine, PGM II system (can't go newer due to local vintage racing club rules). Do i have to use a tach from an R5K or other bike that used a PGM II.
The 88 and 89 rev counters are the parts to go for, as they are self-contained units. 88-93 all take a signal from the PGM-II/III, but for ease of use, I'd stick with an MC18 item.
The solenoids are "dumb" switches, and controlled by the PGM, so either open or closed. _________________ Andy.
