Big end axial play

Fri Jun 17, 2022 7:35 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hallo, sorry if this has been asked, I did try and search for it. Can anyone give me the standard axial play for a big end bearing? I know the manual gives a service limit of 0 85mm but no minimum clearance. Thanks Troy.

No problem, Troy. Some of the info on the Main Site is a bit of a chore to find... it's just been added over the years, in what made [some sort of] sense to me at the time.

I'm working on a revamp of the whole site now, and will try and structure everything a lot better for the future. Really I should use a CMS so it's all database driven and searchable, but I just don't have the time to learn a system on top of everything else I'm doing right now. Maybe I can do it for the next overhaul in another 20 years time! 🤣🤔😳😳
