3 way air joint when using open carbs???

Wed Jun 22, 2022 10:46 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

When running open carbs (pod filters) do I leave this 3 way piece open to atmosphere? Or do I do something else?

Thanks Andy. It is talking about removing and replacing with parts from a kit but I have no idea what comes in the kit. I assume its the HRC kit.

Delete the pipe that goes from the X-piece to the white 3-way joint (that plugs into the underside of the airbox), and the pipe that goes from the white 3-way joint to the air correction solenoid block. Leave that port on the solenoid open to air.

Replace the X-piece and the Y-piece with the HRC kit parts, or press the jets out of the standard parts and fit the T2R jets as shown.

Leave the jet in the X-piece open to air too.
