Drive gear marking question

Hi I've been reading the rebuild tutorial and I'm concerned my drive gear (the gear on the end of the crank) does not have a marking on it. The clutch basket does but not the gear. How important is this and any advice on what I should do. Thanks guys it's been in prices for years and I'm keen to get it back together.

From what I have been able to deduce, it makes no difference.

As Eric says, it doesn't matter. I'll get round to updating/re-writing that one day... amongst all the other jobs! Laughing

The marks were there when I first tore my motor apart, about 25 years ago, so wrote it up that way. Having seen countless motors since, I came to realise it was unimportant, but never changed the text.
