Hey Matt, when can I get some MC18 stainless pipes.

I like the system on my 30 but wish the can was 45mm bore instead of 50mm.

Not wanting to start a 4 stroke discussion, but why's that? We tested 40, 45 and 50 on the brake and the bigger the hole the more the mojo.

Oh yeah, more noise too, but my answer to that is wear earplugs!

On the 18 pipes, just hang in there. It would seem that there's a rebellion from the RGV250 owners. they're tired of being left for dead by TYGA'd NSR's and want some of the action.....apparently.

I want some MC18 pipes now!! haha I`m like a spoilt kid.

The reason 45mm would be better is although the absolute peak power would drop slightly, the dip in the power curve around 8k would be a lot less noticeable and the step in diameters over the last bit looks ugly! Please don`t hunt me down and kill me Rolling Eyes

Love it though, took mine from 57.1bhp to 62.4bhp.

And I know the dip shouldn`t bother me as it`s on a race bike and I should always be above it, but we all make little mistakes and when you do the last thing you need is a dip in the power curve. That said it hangs onto the power nicely.

So on the whole very pleased, why not do a twin stack rear with 42mm bore to fit the pipework like the HRC and MHP kits. To fit the standard Tyga front bits. You`ll sell one to me straight away.

Sorry if 4 stroke discussions aren`t allowed.

Smile

BTW running 120 dynojet mains and FI jet kit needles.

On our tester we suffered no serious midrange hole. Did at first, but tuned it out by lifting the needles. It runs lean around 7~8 standard, so with a pipe needs richening.

Fair enough, but there`s 4 people I know with the same problem. I think we have about 20hours dyno time between us.

And that ended that!

A little bore-stroke conversation is acceptible... usually when it's slating the crap, but I call time on this one. Wink
