nsr mc28

Hi
I wonder if someone can help me. I'm trying to get some information re an NSR 250 MC28 1994.
The frame number is MC28-1003974 and the engine number is MC16E.
Are these numbers normal on an original bike ?

Hello Richard, and welcome to NSR-WORLD.

All NSR250R engine numbers are prefixed MC16E.*

If you check here, you will see that the engine number falls within the range for 1994.

*HRC specific cases are stamped NH3, and "new" cases were supplied blank, and intended to be stamped by an official Honda franchise upon first use.
