Identifying manufacturing year

Hi all,

I have seen the frame and engine identification table to determine model types, however is there a way to tell the manufacturing year of the bike using the frame number (bike is an MC21)?

With the MC28 it’s relatively easy,

94= 10***
95= 11***
96= 12***

I’m not sure about MC21 but a sure fire way to do it is to get a dating certificate from Honda UK. Their website has all the details, but unfortunately it costs £36.
