Hi gang,

Is(was) there a company that builds aftermarket seats for the MC28? I'd love to send a seat and get a new grippy pad made for it with a similar shape as OEM, if not a smidge taller.

Original Seats
We are pleased to announce that we will start selling the original sports seat for MC28!
We have 2 types of seats in our lineup, Type R for circuit driving and winding roads, and Type S for touring and long distance driving.
The shape is based on the normal type, but the height is increased by 10mm.
You can choose from 4 types of leather (buckskin, dimpled mesh, carbon, and plain) and stitching (black, blue, red, yellow, silver, copper, and orange).
The price will be 52800 yen.
We also have seats for test drive at Motol Engineer in Kanagawa and Wako 2 Rinkan in Saitama, so if you are interested, please contact us and check them there.

Well, I was about to mention you're in the best place to get a remanufactured seat! I've seen some nice gel and alcantara seat pads in Japan. Those in your link look very similar.
