I'm in the slow process of rebuilding my mc21 engine..
Does anyone remember if the bolts securing the internal transmission oil pump
Require the use of loctite on their threads?
I'm certain that the dam things were loctited in because 1 snapped whilst being
Removed, slowly and using lots of heat, no chance.. took me two days to remove..
My other question regards the sealant used to seal both the engine
Cases together, I have a new tube of threebond yamabond grey 1215, bought specifically.
I'm getting conflicting advice as to which to use though, some say this flavour whilst others go
For the black 1215R version.
Either of 'em would be OK?
