Depends on the gearing and whether it's restricted. These bikes were not built for top speed runs, but you should be able to get 130 mph from it. _________________ MC21SP Plaything

Myself and Bill Limb go R1 hunting, armed with a 16t front and a 37t rear we like to sit at the top of the A38 and set off after the clones as they come down it into Plymouth. With the wind behind you you can really get a good speed up! _________________ If I have to take the carbs off once more...

My '28 "nipped up" well into the red in 6th showing 117mph on the pushbike speedo, it feels like it under reads a tiny bit but as most conventional speedos apparently over read it's probably spot on. The standard gearing is nuts with no restriction, it needs another 2 gears (at least).
15/44 gearing on my '28, near flat out in 6th = 117mph
16/37 at the same revs in 6th would be a spot over 148mph if you can get it there.
Holy moly. _________________ Please do not PM me technical questions, if you can't find it on the Forum start a thread
Yeah thats about right, where we go hunting is on a very slight incline so they will rev all the way out. Mine wont quite on the flat as im too fat but bill can pull flat out on the flat. _________________ If I have to take the carbs off once more...
