Yes thanks, but only in Japanese, and not scanned yet.

Unfortunately it's not just a case of slapping the page in the scanner either, as the Honda manuals are printed on very thin paper (so images on the reverse side of the page tend to "bleed through") and the images require a lot of work post-scanning to clean them up and resize them.

What exactly do you need to know about? It may be something simple that can be copied over to the MC21 loom. They're all pretty similar.

Andy, does it not help to put a thick black card behind the page?

You've probably already tried, but thought I'd spout off as I was thinking...

Yes, it helps, but the images still need work once scanned.

I wouldn't be prepared to publish a Japanese version either, so would want to translate it and redraw it so it is like the MC21 diagram in the Workshop section.

I didn't fancy starting that at 1AM this morning as I'd just spent 30 minutes scanning, resizing, adjusting, and uploading a float gauge image for another thread.

I am just trying to fix my bike. After a lot of searching on the engine and carburators i found out that the problem is on the electrics!!!It is an mc 21 but with mc18 r2j electrics and i really need a schematic. The last few days when i drive the bike, the tachometer and the bike stop working for a few miliseconds.I don't know what it s going on and i have to check everything concerning the electrics. Also note that when this happens everything else is working except the engine and the tachometer.Maybe this is a ground wire somewhere in the loom!!!

P.S.:Someone sent me an email and i have erased it by mistake. Please send it back on ee4998@ee.teiath.gr.

If it's R2J electrics, check out the wiring diagram on Jamie's Site.

when i had a 2j i had the same problem with it cutting out. cheaked everything and cleaned everything and eventually it stopped causing problems. i think it was the kill switch so give **** kill switch a good clean and make sure it is not playing up. check the ignition and kill switch connections are in good condition and clean.

PS isnt that a pgm 2 diagram (5k/6k not 2j) andy? i thought a pmg 1 daigram was wanted.

The tacho is driven from the PGM, so I'd be looking at the pickup side of things.

This may be way off the mark, but what spark plugs are you running?

I've seen NSR's misfire and suddenly cut out if they're running non resistor type plugs as it interferes with the PGM.

Just a thought.

Failing that it's probably a loose wire of a short.

I use R2J (PGM-CDI not PGM-2) electrics.Matt I always use BR9ECM spark plugs as i have seen the same thing with non resistor plugs.I am still checking everything. If i will not fix the problem i will probably go back to pgm 3 electrics and about 10Hp less!!!!
