I've got one of those, and it makes you a track God! Women love you, men admire you, mechanics worship at your feet.

Ok, so it actually removes the speed restriction and slightly advances the ignition.

You have to monkey about with the wiring, as it's designed to fit an HRC loom, not the standard one. I chopped the plugs off, then crimped pins on to match the stock loom, inserted the pins into the loom plug and sealed the whole lot up with silicone - a perfectly valid battle damage repair for aircraft.

Monkey, the only things that are terrible in your life are your grammar, spelling and punctuation.

Do those work for both 21 & 28 or just one of them ? I have seen them for sale, but don't know if I can use it.

They don't work on the 28, that's the 030 smart card.

Has anyone ever had to balls to rip one of these to pieces and find out what's inside?

My meter says that they've done an expensive wire splice, but then again, I haven't put the meter across it with the engine running.

Buy now, not after result!

I'm not sure I want to know, the mystery may be removed and the kudos of the HRC black box will be stripped away!

How am I gonna pull the birds then?

Mind you, with a siezed solid engine I don't suppose it matters...

They don't mind that, it's tucking it in my pants that turns them off. Laughing
