The start grid

Under starter's orders!!

As promised, a picture of the start grid, only 30 bikes qualified, there were another 5 or so that failed to qualify and maybe another 5-10 that didn't show. Lots of teams had spare bikes in the pits though. Some were RGVs but mostly NSRs. Oh! That's me in red on the far right.

Ahh... a grid just as God intended, I am sure!

Those NSRs look like big bikes for some of those fellows! You can see how they are so fast!!

Yeah! The fat bloke at the back of the grid is there for a reason! .... at least he qualified.

At 60kg I'm one of the heavier riders! Then again most of the GP riders are 60-65kg.

I could do with more help at the track really. It was sooo hot that riders were practically collapsing and dropping their bikes after the race. I'd have settled for anybody holding an umbrella Mad

By all accounts Luke and Stephen were like that after a day on the crossers in Thailand on Friday! I was too busy trekking elephants that day, so had to make up for the feeling on Saturday night!
