Hi guys am having trouble on my top cylinder it keeps missing i put a new set of plugs in it and it went great for a month! and unfortunately they have fouled again i suspect its runnig way too rich on the top cylinder is this possible? and how can it be adjusted? i took the plug out cleaned it and it was running shlightly better but still bad again the plugs are $50 a set so im not too keen to keep putting them in any advuice how to fix this plug fouling problem?
You need to adjust the jet setings in the carbs, so les fuel is going in.
Sounds like you may have another issue though if the bike ran for a month before having a problem. Check all the electrical connections to make sure they're good - especially the spade connectors for the coils. _________________ MC21SP Plaything

yeh im looking at the carbs now how do i adjust the jetting settings? ill look round on some info but any help wld be great theses are the two little brass knobs looking intp the throttle body is that correct spose i have to take the carb off to do this?
Ha! If only it was that easy. If you read the tuning pages it'll give you more of an idea, but basically to adjust the jetting you need to open the carbs and replace the main jet with another of a different size. The needle can also be adjusted to fine tune the mid throttle fuelling, and the pilot jet controls idle and bottom throttle opening. There's also a power jet which does wierd stuff to richen the fuelling too.
Very complicated things carbs, but relatively easy to rejet them. Getting it right is another matter... _________________ MC21SP Plaything
