MC21 for sale (Scotland)

Thu Oct 13, 2005 9:30 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

1992/3 K reg MC21 R model. HRC Jet kit and Endurance racing pipes. Very clean, original condition with little to no corrosion (dry weather use only) This bike is the ideal bassis for someone who's planning the full TYGA treatment, all it needs is the new RSW kit and you're looking at a stonking NSR! Comes with a fresh MOT and a set of TYGA reed blocks with fibre reeds & HRC stuffers (not fitted) As with any 13 year old bike the bodywork isn't perfect. There is a crack in the V piece under the rad and the tank has been polished so much that the paint is rubbed through slightly (very small area). Apart from this and a few chips in the rims caused by tyre changes it's a very clean and well cared for bike, alot cleaner than most. Selling to fund ns400r project (Soon to be ns500r project Twisted Evil ) Offers around 1400. mail me on: jamiedjohnstone@yahoo.co.uk

No longer for sale! Razz I've decided I wanna keep it. Thanks for the total lack of interest folks, that could have been yet another very big mistake. Now looking for a reasonably priced USD front end.

Is it just me, or does the front plastics not match the rear? Rear look standard, front like a respray?

Yup, the seat & tank are original but the fairing's been painted at some stage. It's all the orginal plastics though, no fibreglass. I think I'm going down the Rothmans line with the paint job and keep the original plastics. Then all I needs a nice USD front end and TYGA rear sets and I'll be happy.

I've got an NS400R I'm working on at the minute which is completely stripped and another MC21 rolling chassis I'm planning on turning into a race bike (need a crank or bottom end). I think I can safely say I'm going to be skint for the next couple of years.

I really didn't want to sell it so I'm happy to live on rice and water for a while.
