I have just been looking at the carbon cans in the market place! apart from looks whats the diffrence to performance if you get a short can as apposed to a long one, i thought it was all to do with the chamber? can tell me why? or is it purley LOOKS. Ta!"
If I remember correctly, short and big inner diameter give you top end power, more top speed. Long and smaller diameter give you better acceleration and torque.
i always thought it was down to the chambers and the cans only handled noise reduction _________________ If you dont like the way that i ride.....Stop trying to keep up!!!!!
Mostly, but the cans and the length of pipe from chamber to can does have an effect too. _________________ MC21SP Plaything

Im thinking of buying some carbon cans as my new tyga ones are alloy, Nothing wrong with that its just that my plans may change, i originally wanted to do a AXO bike like they have on the site, but there is a few around now so im gona get a diffrent paint job done, (nearly decided but not 100%) if the bike comes back and it would look better with carbon jobbies i want to buy some, So i guess as long as they are the same length and bore i shouldnt have to re jet or get it set up again. of course ill check it but was wondering as the short ones look cool!
