I didnt like the 160 section, neither did i like the stripes you get down the sides as the larger profile makes it impossible to get rid of these 'chicken strips' so i went for the 150 that Honda specify.
heard good things on the 400 forum for the supercorsas though. _________________ MC21SP - Roth-tax

Yeah, I'll agree with the monkey, they handle nicer on 150's although Bill (Limb) was on about trying 160's as he thought he may ultimately be able to lean further on them. _________________ Please do not PM me technical questions, if you can't find it on the Forum start a thread
I use a 160 on the race 21 and both myself and Wayne had no trouble getting right to the edge. We had more trouble with the footrest always being on the floor, that on my part cos I'm fat and you can judge for your self about Wayne _________________ If I have to take the carbs off once more...
I've always used the Dunlop GPR70SP on the '18. Myself and Billy (monkey) had good fun in both wet and dry on them. On the '21 I use a cut slick, but next time I think I will try the super corsa as ive always liked then on the '45. _________________ If I have to take the carbs off once more...
BT-010's are the dogs, not sure if you can get them in the right size for the NSr250.
I've recently fitted metzelers on the 900 and the back wheel slips under hard accelleration on a mildly damp road.... _________________

I too use and have raced on GPR70's in the right sizes. Top in the dry with a really safe margin of slide, not a sudden loss or flip. Not quite so hot in the wet. _________________ MC21SP Plaything

Im using Dunlop 208GP's (£230 a set )they are awsome. I did use the GPR70's on my NC30 and if ever the 208 is stopeed in NSR size ill go this route, Had bt90's good tyre but never pushed them so cant say much about them , and the right size makes all the diffrence, The SE i had came with a 160 rear and after riding that i think monkey did a really good job at donnington getting round the corners with his 160 he had on at the time, the bike felt unhappy with a 160, no confidance, BUT that could just be me not being used to it!!!!

that'll be why i only did the one session, was gonna do a few but it felt rubbish compared to the 150 on the CBR. _________________ MC21SP - Roth-tax

I've got 090's on both my mc18's. I think they're superb (on the track anyway. not done many road miles). Only thing is on my early model mc18 i can't get the rear right to the edge, took me ages before i realised it's got slightly narrower rear rim Proberly be better with a 140 on that one, But thrashing both bikes round donnington mallory and brands i can't tell the difference.
While we're on the subject of tyres, what pressures do you guys run front & rear on the road? _________________ Warning:
