yep, you'll spend a while just splooging the coating around until it eventually blasts off... satisfying and infuriating at the smae time! _________________ NSR300R - Why did i ever have a 250...
my wheels are taking longer than expected as the blasters say they are having a nightmare trying to get that nasty orange powdercoat off my magteks _________________ MC21SP - Roth-tax

I've used a aircraft quality paint stripper to remove powder coat before. Doesn't hurt alum wheels, not sure about the magteks. You can get it in a rattle can or in can which you have to brush on, the brush on works better. Use rubber gloves as the sh*t burns like hell when you get it on your skin. And REALLY burns when you get it on your face and in your eyes
Hope that helps. _________________ To much HP is barely adequate!
i thought you were not supposed to use anything corrosive on Magteks as it will attack the (small amount of) magnesium in the wheel, i am sure i recall a thread where someones Magteks melted when they were dipped.
I have mine back now and they look loverly, tyres on mmmmmmm _________________ MC21SP - Roth-tax
