Thu Jan 12, 2006 12:01 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Does anyone know of any other bikes that share the same rear caliper for the MC28?

Cheers

Leigh

MC28 is pro-arm - doesn't that mean they are different?

I guessed they were different to the MC21, maybe I should stop being so lazy and go look, I have both in my garage Very Happy

I did think they were different because of the pro arm though, I thought maybe the RVF 400 may be the same but wanted to check.

sorry WH i dont actually know either, thought it might be the same, but you have a few to choose from with the single swinger.

are you upgrading or replacing?

no calipers could be the same it would be the part that it mounts to that would need to be different.

Yep they are different as the MC28 has two pistons and the 21 has only one.

Probobly the same as the VFR/RVF. wouldn't have though honda would have made a special just for the NSR.

I think, NC30, RVF400, RVF750, RC30 and MC28 all share the same rear caliper.

I've got a set of pads from a Honda CR front brake in the rear of my MC 28. Same pads and caliper as far as I can tell.
