How often do you have to change or fill up with gear oil?

Lately, evertime i shift up it makes a clanking sound(like when your moving in neutral and you put it back into gear) this isnt normal is it?

If i do need to put some gear oil in wheres the inlet for it on the mc21?

Hopefully you won't have to "fill up". That would mean you are losing oil. Check out the maintenance schedule in the workshop for oil change intervals. The fill cap is grey on the lower right side of the engine.

All on the site. But just for yer ifno, most use rockoil, and it should be 700ml for a change or 800ml for a rebuild. as long as its a good quality light weight gear oil it should be fine.

right hand side as you sit on the bike / clutch side at the bottom of the clutch housing youll see a big bolt with brass washer, thats the drain plug, lean the bike over if you want to get most of the oil out.

Above a little and back youll see a grey plastic thumb bolt this is the filler/dipstick (no dipstick as such just a cap) if you still cant see it, pm me and ill take a photo and show you. cheers
