Jetting after Derestriction

Hi just rebuilt the engine on my mc21SP and done the wiring splice do I need to alter the jetting?

If I do need to alter the jetting does anyone have a suggestion what to?

going out on a limb here as im not a techy but id say, run it for a while do a plug chop or 3 and see hows its running, mine was deristricted (okay it was a black box) but was in standard trim and didnt need any twiddling, it was only after i opened the airbox, put pipes on etc that it needed looking at!

i ran my R with standard jetting after deristricting it with the PGM and gearbox wire splice, had no problems at all but.......RCs advice is good.

Simply doing the wire splice will not alter the mixture ratio going in to the engine, so you should be fine. However, unless you've done a plug chop and are certain it's running safely rich before you made a change, you can't really be sure it's safe anyway!

Cheers for your help on this was just a bit concerned as in the tunning section on carbs it gives information for using a 145 and a 148 main when using an M-max box
