Dunlop Tyres for MC 28

Sat Apr 08, 2006 10:34 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hallo
Can anybody tell me, if it will be OK to use a Dunlop D207 Front Tyre with a Dunlop D208 Rear.

Thanks
George

Half the world will probably say no including every tyre place you speak to but in reality it'll be fine, Monkey ran (I thnk) a BT90 rear and a really nasty front (or vise versa) and still scraped his pegs first time ever on the track.

But of more concern than slightly mis matched tyres why are you called Sue, George?

Some would argue it's better, as the 207 is grippier than the 208 isn't it?

I run two different Dunlops on my NSR and have never had an issue with them. Of course I change them at least every three weekends, so I don't know how they would be over a long period of time.

For racing? they are perfect.
