Fast Freddie gives a car 30 second and a normal streetbike 15 second head starts round Laguna Seca (1 lap) and beats them both Shocked

Of more concern is Freddies marigold style gloves

I'd love to see a modern version of that at somewhere like Mugello, where all the vehicles could stretch their legs...

I'd have (keeping it Honda), an Integra Type R, NSX-R, Blade and RCV... (Don't mention the Honda F1 car!)

Quoting one of my members:

This vid was from a TV series called the need for speed. There were 6 eps, each with a representative for their category and their vehicle which they did a comparo with. each ep ran for about 25 mins, and they explained the rules and technology in the categories.

Niki Lauda had the mclaren TAG at silverstone, Michele mouton and markku alen took the audi quattro around a rally circuit somewhere, Bobby rahal ran his indycar, kenny bernstein had his funny car, and darrell waltrip did the same with his nascar

]That clip comes from a video made in mid/late '80s. I have the video in my collection, but I forget the name it. I think it might be "Freddie Spencer Explains Motorcycle Road Racing"
