I've just fitted some RS250 PJ38 carbs to my 21. They bolt straight on which is great. It sounds fierce now compared to standard and I'm in the process of making up an Aluminium or Carbon airbox/tray type thing (technical term) for them.

Next stop the Dyno!

What have you done regarding the NSR's T.P.S.?

I remember an MC21 motor that Matt TYGA had built with RS cylinders and carbs that was a flier, but a real pain in the ass to start unless we tweaked the T.P.S. first.

The dyno results would be interesting to see, especially if you could do a roll-on test and tweak the T.P.S. while doing the run!

I think the latest RS's use a T.P.S., hopefully someone will be along that can confirm it!

Mmmmm... RS bits!

Regarding the TPS. I've wired it fully open on the advice of Matt at TYGA. The carbs are huge though and are a VERY tight fit. Almost touch the frame at one point!

I've still got a complete RS250 (older model) engined MC21. If I can get enough offers on the parts (to be shipped from Japan), then I will break it.
