A big "thank you"...

Mon Feb 20, 2006 5:45 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

I would like to thank the guys who stepped up to help me open the account with Talon Engineering, and also Scott at Talon for working with me.

I know my requirements for this order were pretty unforgiving, so I appreciate the way everyone paid up promptly and on time, and that some of you actually over-paid a little and left the balance as a donation towards the upkeep of the Site. (Not to everone, but I hope a couple of you guys realise the price is plus shipping... you've lost that donation you offered now!!! Wink)

I was speaking to Scott today to confirm colours etc., and he says there is a possibility of a billet NSR250 dry clutch basket:

Would anyone be interested? I will need to take him a stock one to measure up, and I would need to make another minimum order to keep the price somewhere near civilised!

No idea of price yet, I just want to know if anyone is interested.

By the way, everyone who asked gets gold coloured rears, the rest (er, I think just me!) gets silver! See, I'm not such the tart you think I am Fontyyy!

Yes I'd be interested in the clutch basket, dependent on price of course! Wink

If the price is right, I'd be interested in 2 clutch baskets, as mine are a little worn already.

You should've already received those spacers Wayne! Hmm... I'm off to check where I sent them to now! Confused

What, in total, including shipping/duty?

Well, according to my abacus here, you need to allow for up to £110 for a stock basket from TYGA, as not everyone will be as lucky with importing parts. You must allow for shipping, VAT, and import duty on any foreign purchase, and look at it simply as a bonus if you don't get charged.

A genuine item from Honda UK is around £130, so I am informed.
