tips on lifting the rear end on a 28?

is there a way to jack up the rear wheel on a proarm without a proper stand?
nowhere to put a jack unless I take the pipes off.

Did you want to take the swing arm off? If not you can use a abba stand, bit expensive but holds the bike solid and uses the swing arm pivot points to support the machine.

Not in the same fashion as using two axel stands on a conventional swing arm no.

I want to take the wheel off for painting.
there is a guy selling stands on ebay but doesn't know the size of the pin for the NSR. anyone know the size for the stand pin going into the hub?

the pin s/b around 30 -31 mm. Bigger than 31.50 mm will not fit.
