Clutch parts

Wed May 10, 2006 2:38 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Does anybody make after market clutch parts for a MC21 R model (wet). The parts needed to service the clutch. I would like to order from a local shop.

Thanks

Barnett doesn't have the HPK2. They have a HPK20, is it just an error on the site?

You out there Charles?

Service as in replace the plates?

I'd go with original if you can afford it. I tried EBC plates and didn't rate the feel much, nor the longevity of them. Maybe the wet clutch would be different, but they were certainly not great with my dry...

go with the parts that are in the Marketplace. I have been using them in my MC28 for racing, and they outlast the stock plates by a good amount (well okay, maybe get an extra 2 starts out of them, but that's a good 50% more).
