Really! Do you know what the asking price is? How did you find it. I see a few in the UK. I'm wondering if anyone imports them? I heard someone say that import charges are $800, and I see the NSR250 advertised for 1500pounds. Sounds like good pricing!
Anyway, I'm seriously looking for one. I have experience with 2 stroke bikes (CR250, YSR50) so if there's one that needs work I will consider it also. _________________ Looking for streetable NSR250

Thanks nsrwanted, are you located in BC, how did you find that post? $6000 sounds a bit much for a bike that old unless it was completely original with low mileage. Any idea where this TO bike is? _________________ Looking for streetable NSR250

Cool, I moved to Mississauga from NB and I just got back from visiting a friend in Cape Breton. What a place, too bad all the young people are leaving. A lot of potential there. How long have you been looing for an NSR? I just started, what is the price range for these bikes usually. _________________ Looking for streetable NSR250
Been looking for nsr/sp for bout 12 months.............seems most of the sp models we will see are hi mile bikes or hi price. The one in ontario is ok.....but nothing special. Considering importing a bike now.....but finding a web site that is english is tough and getting replies back even tougher.
Just sold my very very nice ns400r to a guy in toronto....if i could only find a 250 as nice as that...id be smiling all the way to the turns;) _________________ scars are souveneers you never lose
I agree with you. It is very very hard to buy any bike oversea without connection. Finding a R and SE is very easy because there are plenty out there still. It is very tough to find a SP because most owner will keep it forever.
Question about registration. Why would there be a problem registering the bike? I thought the nsr250 are street legal in Canada? Also which GTA forum was that nsr on? _________________ Looking for streetable NSR250
Legal in canada if imported properly and have met the 15 yr rule. Quite a few have been imported as race bikes and licensed as other bikes....not kool if looking to buy a bike and you want to be honest! The GTA forum is where the nsr is .....but it is a SE not the desirable SP.
I will get my SP............and a nice one! Patience young grasshopper! _________________ scars are souveneers you never lose
