I was wondering how many NSR owners are going to attend the US Moto GP next weekend? I live 31 miles from the center of the paddock if anyone needs a base camp to park and ride in or whatever. Free place to park your RV, pitch a tent. I strongly dissagree with the practice of local hotel. motel owners charging $150.00 and up for a room that would ordinarily go for $29.00 "Special event" you see.
I was supposed to go, but business slowed down and my mood changed in the last couple weeks so I have dropped all of my plans for a while. Maybe next year. _________________ james

I went last year, great time, if you haven't been you won't be disappointed. Can't afford it this year, thing are getting to expensive just to get by every month. I'll be there on my couch watching Speed. _________________
I'll be there....wait, Im already here! Im actually making a lil vacation out oof this so I decided to get here a week early. Just been doing some fishing, riding, and gardening before the chaos!
Anyone live close enough to go for a cruise?
Lets have a lil NSR meet up at a designated place and time... Or where is everybody going to park at the track? We can at least park next to eachother. lol _________________ MC21 300R w/SE bits, Rossi 2001

I think the camp site is 433, it's between turn 9 & 10 on the second level. Look for a black MC21, motorhome & black Tahoe. I will be there Thursday around 4pm. Here is a link for campground E.
As far as the winner, I think Hayden will win again. It's hard to bet against him after he dominated last year. I don't think he was ever 2nd fastest at any point of the weekend.
Drive in & park what? They are not letting any cars inside the track unless you have preferred parking or a campsite. Cars are parking off site & people are taking shuttles into the track. It sounds pretty lame to me but it took some people 2 hrs to get in last year. The camping is packed & not much room for anything. Your best bet is to check out the corkscrew & walk over. The walk sucks now since they moved the bridge up the hill. You can try & get past the guy at the entrance to the campground if you want.
I live close enough for a cruise, in fact I took the MC28 for a lil ride through the hills this afternoon. I usually park next to the christian helmet and coat check which is located by the pit entrance above turn 4. I will be riding a ti duke II with remus ti pipes and slicks. Who's buying the beer????
