my brakes have seized on from the bike being sat there for 6 months. this morning I striped the rear master cylinder and calliper cleaned them out now I can't get it to bleed the piston in the master cylinder is sticking and not returning

Hi John,
I take it you`ve put the springs back in?
Did you fit the seal the right way round?
The lip is meant to be sticking out on the side away from where the brake lever fits.
That way it pushes fluid when you operate it, slips back easy when you release it.
