Opinions on this filter

http://www.knfilters.com/search/product.aspx?Prod=RC-2360

Found this on K&N's site and reckon it would fit but I have heard that the metal tops on this type of filter forces fuel back into the carbs?

Also would they flow enough to be wothwhile and if not can someone recommend some decent pods?

Like you said its got a metal top so thats no good at all really. The only pods that almost do the job are Ramair ones but even these dont help anything. Just run open carbs and be a man.

I may just do that. Wink

I think a trip to tesco is in order though to get some tea strainers to stop small children and stones being sucked in. Twisted Evil

Check out unifilter, they make some nice pods. They have a foam top so you won't have any of those problems with a metal or rubber top.

Embarassed I'll wash it when I've finished bolting stuff on. Razz

Got the SP internals in my legs now, just need to find the resevoir bracket for the rear shock Embarassed then that can go on. Only then will it get a wash, I even went to tesco's last weekend to get some washing equipment. Laughing

You could buy one of NSR-Worlds HRC rep air boxes and then still run the carbs open.
