Oh well i'll just have to use my 18sp just as quick as the 21 if it turns out to be a slug i will tune it it's good for 70bhp after moding the engine flowed head bigger carbs and changed cam.

Well it should handle well, no worries about two stroke oil.
Lots of grunt out of corners & wheelies should be good fun.

Not sure I`d go this route though. Seems too sensible.

Would be nice to squeeze a big high revving motor in there!

nice work, how hard was it to mount the engine in there? did it requre much cutting/welding? is it running now? looks really clean Cool

Judging by the pics, how do you plan to get the sprockets to align?

The sprockets line up the rear engine mount on the dr650 motor has plenty of side to side play the top engine mount i will have to make a bracket and do a bit of ally welding same goes for the mid engine and front mounting points i have kept the original exhaust down pipe and just cut it so when it comes to making up a pipe it will be easy also i have to make the inlet rubbers for the carbs a bit longer that's not a problem the carbs also miss the underside of the tank i will post another pic when it's running i can also keep the 21 bodywork because the dr engine is no wider than the nsr motor.

I bought a dr freewind cheap tried to use it for green lane riding found out it was crap but liked the motor so sold all parts on ebay got fed up waiting for engine parts for the 21 motor thought what the heck get the angle grinder out and now it's a supermono have a look at this site it's very popular in france http://challengedesmonos.free.fr/

Fenton i'am comming to london mid august i also have two pgm3's and a radiator no longer needed the sp bottom end is missing some clutch parts it needs plates cork and metal also the outer pressure plate/springs/push rod it has the inner and the outer drum i bought a brand new outer clutch cover the plastic part apart from that it's all complete i can upload some pics and give you a link so you can view this.the crank is good.
