As I mentioned (or rather, hijacked) on Bulletproof's thread, it's the South West Motorcycle Show at Westpoint Exeter this weekend, and I was wondering if anyone felt the need to come on down and have a bit of a get-together for part or all of the weekend?
There's another bike show 2 miles up the road too, run by a local M/C club in aid of the Devon Air Ambulance Trust that makes it more than worthy of visit, even if it's just to chuck a Fiver in the DAAT bucket! There's camping at the "local" event, with live bands all night, food, beer, and drunken showboating etc. no doubt.
Although we didn't do the show last year (we did "Llandow - The Return" instead, and a little Dyno-Day) we did have a rather entertaining ride-out on the Sunday to the Barnstaple Regatta where there happened to be a bike meet that the NSRs seemed to steel the limelight at!
(Dave, if you drag yours down this way I'm sure we will find you a barrel to borrow... it's been a year now!!
)
Anyone want to come out for a play?! I've ordered some suitable weather for the weekend!!
