Anyone fancy a Trackday on Anglesey RAF base on Sun 20th?

Click the link for more details:

You'd need to PM the guy posting on the RD forum as you need to be registered as it's on an operational Airforce base (extra interest if you are into planes of course)

It's Cheap and there'll be plenty of track time I'm promised. I'll be there on the, ahem, reborn TZR 3XV. It'd be good to see a few more strokers in attendance tho'- that way I won't be the only one getting wasted by the R1's on the straights Rolling Eyes

Cheers

Tell the kids they're going to an 'air show' - I'm sure there'll be some planes lying about the place. Wink My missus is coming along in a purely spectating capacity, so maybe you could try breakfast in bed tomorrow morning with yours? Sometimes you catch them just right Laughing

Cheers

Lol. Not only survived, but thrived, Stephen. And the little 3XV humbled a whole range of big fours into the bargain - smoker-tastic! Really great day. Long and fast circuit - 2.5 miles with a 100mph sweeper and some pretty long straights as well as some very nadgerey stuff. Very grippy surface too as it needs to absorb the braking and accelerating forces of fighter jets etc. The half hour sessions were pretty tiring tho - must get fitter.

A top day out in fact. It's gonna be an annual event I think, so I'll try to post details earlier on next year. Sounds bonkers I know, but in our group, myself and my mate Paul on his reverse cylinder TZ-U were quite literally running rings round the GSXRs, R1s, Ducati's etc. It'd have been nice to have had some other strokers there really to provide more of a challenge Twisted Evil 2-strokes - dontcha just love 'em Very Happy

Cheers
