Is a RS250 1989 magtek 17" rear wheel a straight swop into a MC21 ?

I'm told it was the same wheel used in the NSR F3 kit.

How about the cush drive, must you use the RS or can the NSR drive still be used ?

Not a straight swap, the RS/F3 wheel came with different spaces to cope with a different rear brake and chain adjusters.

Yes lol

Right been out side and had a look at mine, The NSR crush drive wont work with an RS wheel, you have to use the RS crush drive which is part of the RS rear sproket. You will then need to get the RS sprocket shims and spacers.

On the disk side, as the F3 collor is no longer avaliable You will either have to make up a new spacer to space the disk out (away from the wheel) as well as make up new spacers to move the caliper into the right position on the spindle.

The nicest way to do it is to have the swinging arm remachined to take the RS chain adjuster and caliper carrier.

The 1989 RS real wheel has a very different sprocket and disk off set to the stock wheel so both sides will need to be modified to fit into a MC21 gull arm.
