I've found the wiring diagram for the newer models (93>) on the net, but i canot find it for my model (nsr 125r '91), the scheme is not the same, on the cdi unit i have two extra wires which are causing me the problem, i have no idea where are they going.

so if anyone knows where can i find the diagram please let me know.

thank you in advance

that cdi has come from a 93 + bike the early bikes just had two plugs. the two wires are for the rc valve servo motor. just to make sure is the bike a jc20 ? if it is i do have the wiring schematic for it mate

well the user manual for 93> models said that the cdi unit should be labeled ci6**b, mine is CI589B, and the model is nsr125rl, 91'... is it possible that the previous owner has replaceds the cdi unit?

anyway if you have the wiring diagram for jc20 please send it to me.

cheers mate

my mechanic just called...he said that probably my cdi unit is dead. Is there replacement for my cdi unit? i couldnt find spare on the net, so i was thinking about placing cdi from another bike or at least from other nsr (newer version) do you think it will work?

p.s. i've sent you pm with my e-mail

have a look at www.okshon.com i picked one up there a few months ago but the cost of the postage can kill the deal. or you can try david silver spares.

as for swapping it for a newer model you can try it but if i remember right the rc valves don,t work and it is restricts it to 12 hp unless you can get a italian one Exclamation
