It says that the rc valve cables need to have 0.5 - 1.0 mm of free play in them. Is this free play along the cable or when you move it side to side. My cables are quite loose when you move them side to side, should they be taut. Probly pretty obvious but just thought i'd ask. thanks
Think of it as the RC valve pulley needs to have a millimeter play in it before the motor starts to turn. _________________ MC21SP Plaything

thanks very much. i don't think it will matter much now anyway. put a new battery in last night and servo didnt run with the ignition on . will the bike run at all even if the servo isnt working. i dont think there is anything wrong with the pgm cause all the lights are working.
thank god for that. something simple like checking the connections. i checked them and gave them a clean out with air. BIKE STARTED AFTER BOUT 4 KICKS. . rc valves are working. didn't idle real well and was making some pinging noises. for starters i thought it was coming from one of the cylinders on the right side of the bike but when i pulled the clutch in there was a lot of noise like something was loose. i don't think its running at its best, i checked the plugs and there was a lot of excess fuel on them and will be doing a compression test on the engine soon, in the meantime has anyone had this sought of noise from what i think is the clutch
does it sound like someone shaking a bag of bolts You've got a dry clutch. They all make that noise. _________________ 1995 A kit TZ 250
